Homeowners Meeting Notes
FIVE items the Sanctuary HOA Board would like brought to the attention of the homeowners:
1. Lids should be placed on garbage cans and rocks on newspapers to prevent trash from being distributed throughout the neighborhood when the wind blows.
2. June 2nd is the date for this year's annual Clean-up and Brunch starting at 8:30am. Look for the details under Social Committee News.
3. The Board requests that all homeowners submit email addresses and any updated information to any Board member or Sam Searcy at dcmi@ix.netcom.com for inclusion in our Homeowner Directory, available only to residents on the Sanctuary Website. This secure portion of the website contains financial information as well as resident addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and can only be accessed with a personal code assigned to each homeowner. To obtain your code call Sam at 303-617-6272 or email him.
4. The next HOA Board meeting will be Thursday, July 26th, location to be determined.
5. Homeowners must notify any contractors they use to take their trash with them and not dump in adjacent property.
Social Committee News
Our annual Clean-up Day will be Saturday, June 2nd, beginning with coffee, juice and scones at 8:30am at Ralph and Janet Hanna's. In the past this has been the day to get neighbors together to clean up trash, dig weeds, plant flowers in entrances and various other "chores" to keep Sanctuary looking great. We have, however, hired a company to maintain the entrances so that work is no longer required, construction "downstream" is mostly complete so trash isn't as prevalent, and other than digging up the occasional weed and snagging a wayside wrapper, the gathering is mostly about reconnecting after being inside all winter. At about 10:30 brunch will be served at Le Bistro Blackhawk with Goat Cheese & Vegetable Frittata, Creamy Smoked Salmon & Dill Tart, Baked French Toast Praline Casserole, fresh fruit, Mimosas, beer, coffee, lemonade. Look for a flyer coming soon and be sure to RSVP to the Social Committee to make your reservation. As always, this event is paid for out of your annual dues, so join your neighbors June 2nd for a delightful summer howdy-do!

A little paint….
Ron of Caron Realty has been notifying the homeowners that require maintenance on garage doors and attic covers of this work to be completed by the end of June. If you'd rather not attempt this job yourself, a couple of homeowner-recommended painting companies are:
HANNA PAINTING - Grant Hanna - 720-939-4200 (Cell) or
303-757-2823 (Home)
PAINT N' PLACE - Mike Imelmann - 303-752-2282 (Cell)
Both contractors have indicated that they can offer a discount if multiple owners have their work done at the same time, so you may want to talk to your neighbors.
Also listed on the Sanctuary website are many other service providers recommended by your neighbors. When you need help, check out the list. If you have had satisfactory work done at your property, please send your recommendation to Sam or Joan Searcy for inclusion. We all appreciate knowing contractors we can trust.
Drainage Ditch
At the last Board meeting, Malcolm Jones discussed a letter that was drafted by Andy Tysler to the City of Centennial and encouraged each of us to copy and send this letter to the two individuals to whom it is addressed. You may obtain a copy of this letter by emailing Malcolm at m-mjones@msn.com and feel free to customize the letter as you see fit. Note; be sure to enter your name and address at the bottom before sending it.
The points to stress are:
1. The health hazard of standing water in the ditch and
2. The possible erosion/damage to the street surface adjacent to the ditch.

Snow? * * * *
With Spring making a glorious appearance, it is hard to believe we had such issues with snow removal only a few months ago. In the event we have a re-occurrence of our once-in-a-100 years winter this next year, Stan Massey reported bids will be solicited during the summer and he has received the names of some smaller companies that may be more responsive to our needs. Timeliness of removal is the major issue.
