      A well informed community is a happier community, we feel, and as we start what we hope will become a tradition of newsletters, we welcome your input and comments.
      Sanctuary is off to a great start and we're proud that you are part of it! Putting in place all of the components for a new residential community is a significant undertaking, particularly for one this complex and we are delighted with the way it is taking shape. We sincerely hope you are as well.

Think Green!            
      For those of you who've been patiently awaiting landscaping around your home, we think your patience should soon pay off... unless Mother Nature plays a dirty trick on us! American Design and Landscape is as eager as you are to complete your yard and will begin installation as soon as weather permits.
      If you plan to upgrade your trees or bushes, or intend on customizing your landscaping, please call Sam McNish at 303-841-2820 and arrange an appointment. Remember that if you plan to customize, approval may be needed first from the Design Review Committee (DRC).

Design Review Committee
      With warmer weather just around the corner, thoughts typically turn to the outdoors. Perhaps you are planning the addition of a deck to your home, or some low fencing, maybe an awning or a storm door. Anything you add to the exterior of your home needs approval , before you start, from the Sanctuary HOA DRC. Simply call Sue Sherill at Management Specialists, or Linda Massey - DRC chairperson, to request the form needed. For more rapid handling of time-sensitive requests, one copy of your request can be delivered or mailed to Linda Massey.
      No matter how small or insignificant the addition you are planning may seem, it still may have an impact on one, or more, of your neighbors, and needs to be reviewed and approved before you start.

Pet watch                       
      In a small, beautiful community such as ours, it is important that dog owners be with their dogs at all times when outside of their own yards. Picking up after your dog is being a good neighbor. Please keep your scooper handy!

Homeowners Directory
      Sanctuary on the park LLC has volunteered to create a homeowners directory, which would include home and work telephone number as well as names and addresses for each homeowner. The directory will be provided to the Homeowners Association, which in turn would distribute it to each homeowner. Names and addresses are public information easily obtained by anyone. Telephone numbers are not public, and neither Sanctuary on the Park LLC nor the HOA wants to offend or upset anyone by publishing them. We will not include a phone number for anyone who advises us not to.
      Because we lack information on some of our homeowners, we are asking you to fill out and return the form at the bottom of the page in the envelope provided by April 30. Fill out the information as you wish it to appear in the directory. Include phone numbers only if you want them published!
