Meet Your Neighbors
Judy Wagner and Jim Burger
A fly fisherman and a gardener joined our community January 28 when Jim Burger and Judy Wagner relocated from southeast Denver's Hutchinson Hills to Sanctuary on the Park.
Their home is 6125 S. Carson St., which Ted Gabreski forsook for Windmill Creek. They love the neighborhood and are learning to know their neighbors.
Jim is a native of Boulder, where after World War II he completed work on his law degree, practiced property and estate law and became a real estate investor. He's the fisherman who applies his hobby on Wyoming streams whenever he can.
A veteran of World War II, Jim flew an F4U Corsair in the Pacific Theater. Arthritis has been gaining on Jim of late. That hasn't stopped Jim and Judy from traveling. They recently returned from Longboat Key near Sarasota, Florida, which they have enjoyed visiting for a number of years. Judy grew up in Wagner, South Dakota, close to the Missouri River near Nebraska. She graduated from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, and has been employed at the Bank of Denver downtown the past 32 years. She's vice president-controller and secretary. Judy is yearning to continue her passion for gardening, hoping her favorite tomatoes will thrive here.

Architectural Review Reminders
Here's The Poop! Please remember that all dog owners must clean up after their dog on Sanctuary property. This includes the gravel path and surrounding areas as well as lawn areas and the street. As winter comes to an end, it is very evident that dog owners are becoming less careful about cleaning up. Please carry plastic bags with you so this task becomes a habit and not an oversight. Another problem involves people who do not live in the Sanctuary and walk their dogs on our property without taking responsibility for clean up. Feel free to speak to these folks if you see they are not cleaning up after their dogs.
Design Review Applications - Spring is approaching and we begin to think about improvements to our property and homes, as well as thoughts about adding trees or bushes and flowers to our yards. Remember, for changes or additions to your property, you must obtain a Design Review Request from the Committee. This form must be filled out with the plans specified - with pictures or drawings as needed. Forms may be obtained from Carol Race, 303-400-3451. Check your Rules and Design Maintenance Guidelines for the Sanctuary on the Park for items disallowed. Caron Realty mailed these Rules to all homeowners.

Sprinkler Turn-on Time
Don't forget that Monday, April 11 the sprinklers for all homes will be turned on. If you turn them on inside your home remember to post a note to inform our landscape company so they can continue with the outside work. Thanks.
Tax Time Already?
As you begin to prepare your records for this year's tax returns, remember that all Arapahoe Library District libraries will have supplies of federal and state tax forms. And the library staff will be happy to direct you to printed and online resources that may help. Several libraries also offer free tax preparation assistance by local organizations such as AARP. Look for a schedule at www.arapahoelibraries.org.
Timely Tip:
A tiny faucet drip can waste 50 gallons of water a day, but a leaky toilet will waste 46,000 gallons of water in six months! To tell if you have a leak in your toilet, add some dye to the tank. If you don't flush and the dye shows up in the bowl anyway, you have a leak.
