Your Neighbors
Welcome to the Chang Family-

Our newest neighbors are Chris, Kathy and Cameron (18 months) Chang who moved into 6270 S. Carson St. at the end of April. Many of you had an opportunity to meet them at the annual Clean Up Day and Picnic. Chris and Kathy especially like the friendliness of this community.

Chris and Kathy are originally from the Dallas, Texas area and came to Boulder in 2000 from the Bay Area of California where Kathy graduated from Stanford Business School. Chris graduated from MIT as an electrical engineer, has done management consulting and is in charge of "strategy" for a software company in downtown Denver. When Kathy took a position with a venture capitalist firm in the Denver Tech Center, they wanted to locate closer and found our neighborhood to fit the bill.

Chris is a big Bronco fan and enjoys watching basketball and other televised sports. The Changs both enjoy playing golf, reading, and specialty cooking - when time allows. Having a toddler in the house pretty much takes care of the "free time" for a while.

We're glad to have you as neighbors!

Annual Cup O'Cheer

Could we really be talking December already? Just a reminder to save the date - December 5th - for our annual neighborhood Holiday party. Hostess and time to be announced, but we want you to get it on your calendar early and make plans to join us.

Fence Repair

Based on the decision of the Board of Directors, repair and repainting of the perimeter fence along Jordan Road and at the corner of Caley and Carson Sts. will begin sometime in October. In reaching this decision, the Board felt fence repair was more in line with the desires of the majority of the residents rather than replacement at this time. This is only a temporary "fix" and a decision for a permanent solution to this unsightly fence will be made at a future Board meeting.

Annual Sanctuary Homeowners Meeting

The Annual Sanctuary on the Park Meeting of Homeowners will be December 8, 2004 at 7:00pm at Valley County Club. The agenda includes electing one new board member and approval of the budget for 2005. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

Helpful Phone Numbers

As we live here awhile, we find ourselves in need of service companies that do repair work or additions (approved by the Architectural Control Committee, of course!) we can depend on and the best way to find out whom to call is through referrals. If you have had work done since you've moved here and are pleased with the results, please pass that information on to the Sentinel Editor and we will include these companies in future Newsletters. Some recent referrals include:

JKJ Lawn Sprinkler, Inc. Joe DiBlasi, 303-766-0775
for sprinkler moving, additional heads, repair,
   landscape lighting.

company did the original installation of the stone
   and it is under warranty.

303-730-2390 for Kwik Kerb continuous concrete
edging. Excellent service and product for a
professional landscape edge. Approved by our
